Biographie

Né à Londres le 25 juin 1995, le multi-instrumentiste Tom Misch se fait connaître par ses EP instrumentaux postés sur Internet, dans un style ambient, à la fois électronique et acoustique. Réalisé avec Carmody en 2014, l'EP Out to Sea est suivi d'une série de deux Beat Tapes, de singles et des EP Reverie et 5-Day Mischon (2017). Après ces cartes de visite, le musicien travaille à son premier album Geography (2018),  un recueil éclectique qu'il promeut toute l'année dans des tournées britannique, américaine et européenne. En 2020, à la suite d'une rencontre en studio impromptue avec Yussef Dayes (United Vibrations, Yussef Kamaal), Tom Misch s'associe au batteur de jazz pour l'enregistrement de leur album What Kinda Music.

Tom Misch is a young British singer-songwriter and guitarist who gained attention via online sketches and tracks before he released his debut album 'Geography' in 2018. Sampled by local rap artists, he put out an EP titled 'Out to Sea' with singer-songwriter Carmody in 2014 and a series of instrumental tracks under the name 'Beat Tape 1' plus the single 'Memory'. 'Beat Tape 2' followed with another EP, 'Reverie', and single 'South of the River' in 2016 with the EP '5-Day Mischon' and the single 'Damselfly' in 2017. His 2018 schedule included performances at venues in various North American cities including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Washington and then in European cities such as Dublin, London, Barcelona, Manchester, Amsterdam, Paris and Munich.
